BETHLEHEM, PA – The Alfred University men's track & field team wrapped up it's 2022 outdoor season at the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships hosted by Moravian College on Thursday evening.
"The way that we fought and pushed each other all year, both indoor and outdoor, really shows how we can raise ourselves to a new level," Head Coach
Dr. Angie Taylor said. "This meet showed us a little bit of everything from hot temperatures in the sun, to a misty and chilly Thursday morning, to a gust of wind that threw a canopy weighed down with 35-pound plates. Through all of that, we competed strong across the board and we are very happy and proud of our student-athletes."
The 4x100-meter relay team of
John Wendt (Lewiston, NY/Lewiston-Porter), Steven Jackson (Culpeper, VA/Eastern View), Papa Dioum (New York, NY/Frederick Douglas Academy) and

th place. The Alfred University school record is 42.39, set in 1995 by Lou Springer, Eddie Najeeullah,
Chris Mayo and Glenn Clinton.

The 4x800-meter relay team closed out the 2022 outdoor season with a 19
