Alex Rossen (Charlton, NY/The Darrow School) nearly won the first set against Madison Galvin from No. 4.
"We had some great play from the first doubles play today," Head Coach
Jordan Crouch said. "It was a back-and-forth match, but we unfortunately got down and just couldn't quite claw our way back in front. Tomorrow, we're going to work on having a great start to the match and hopefully have a lead to play with."
Alfred University will remain on the road as they face Russell Sage College on Sunday at 11:00 AM.
