Alfred University men’s lacrosse makes coaching appointments

ALFRED, NY – Alfred University head men's lacrosse coach Jason Lockner has added two assistant to his coaching staff.

Timothy Priskey has been appointed assistant coach and Thomas Bardsley has been appointed graduate assistant.

Priskey, who also serves as Life Skills Coordinator for the Alfred University Department of Athletics, comes to AU from Bethany (WV) College, where he had served as head men's lacrosse coach since June 2013. He also served as an assistant coach for the Thiel College men's lacrosse team from 2011-13.

Priskey earned a bachelor's degree in business administration (concentration in marketing and management) from Wheeling Jesuit University (Wheeling, WV) in 2010. He was a goalie on the Wheeling Jesuit men's lacrosse team and also coached goalies and defense while serving as an assistant at Thiel.

Bardsley comes to Alfred from Siena College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in marketing last May. While at Siena, he played four years on the Saints' Division I men's lacrosse team.

At Siena, Bardsley earned Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference all-academic honors and was a Franciscan Scholar all four years. His prior coaching experience includes working summer camps at Yale and Siena universities and Hamilton College and also for youth camps run by Upstate Lacrosse Association in Cortland.

Bardsley is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from AU.

The AU men's lacrosse team is coming off a 2015 season in which the Saxons went 13-4 (5-3 Empire 8) and hosted the ECAC Division III championship tournament. The 13 wins were the most in a single season at AU since the 1995 team went 13-4.
