ALFRED, NY -- The Alfred University men's lacrosse team fell in a 21-0 loss to the Nazareth Golden Flyers on Wednesday afternoon.
AU forced seven turnovers led by two from
Ethan Karches (Marilla, NY/Iroquois) and
Alex Petrangelo (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna). Petrangelo recorded 10 saves in 45 minutes of action.
Max Sigmund (Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge) played in the fourth quarter, making three stops.
Hunter Cupp (Bath, NY/Haverling) picked up nine ground balls to lead all players and went 8-for-16 on face-offs.
The Saxons will next hit the road for two games starting at Utica University on Saturday at 12PM.
