The Saxons came out shooting against Juniata College in the first half of the second round of the Frostburg State University Tournament on Saturday afternoon with eight shots in the first half. Despite plenty of action for Juniata's tandem keeper approach for Jonathan Phillips and James Johnson, no goals were scored going into the half.
The second half appeared to be more of the same coming out of the gate, but the Saxons refused to be silenced. In the 70

Richard Lander (So., Narrowsburg/Sullivan West) ripped a shot that was denied by Juniata's Johnson, but Craver followed up the shot to find the back of the net to put the Saxons up 1-0.
From there the Saxons took hold of the game and refused to let go as they didn't let up another shot on goal the rest of the game.
The Saxons improve to 1-1-0 (0-0 Empire 8) on the season and are in action again Tuesday, September 2
nd to take on University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in Bradford, PA.
