Box Score ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University men's basketball team dropped to 8-4 in Empire 8 play Saturday afternoon, after St. John Fisher handed the Saxons a 105-83 loss. This loss drops AU to 17-6 on the season.

Fisher led 57-33 at halftime thanks to 56 percent shooting from the field, 75 percent shooting from beyond the arc, and 89 percent shooting from the free throw line.

The Saxons opened the second half on a run that would bring them as close as seven points (71-64), but were unable to surpass the deficit for the rest of the game.

Senior guard Thomas Tsatsis (Neponsit, NY/Townsend Harris) scored a team-best 15 points, added four steals, and pulled down a team-high six rebounds. Freshman guard Tyler Seelman (Lorton, VA/Hayfield Secondary) helped out with 12 points. Junior center Dalton Walsh (Stockton, NY/Cassadaga Valley) converted five-of-nine from the field for 11 points, and junior guard Tim Pacheco (Mt. Pocono, PA/Pocono Mountain East) dished out six assists (nine points).

AU continues E8 play on Friday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m. against Nazareth College.
