ALFRED, NY- The Alfred University men's soccer team lost to visiting Keuka College, 2-1, Tuesday evening at Yunevich Stadium.

Keuka held a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Freshman midfielder James Piombino (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) tied the game at the 63rd minute off a free kick service from freshman midfielder Richard Lander (Narrowsburg, NY/Sullivan West). Keuka scored a late goal at the 86th minute to give them the edge as time expired.

For the game, the Saxons held a 19-6 shot advantage over the Storm.

AU (4-7-0, 0-2-0 Empire 8) resumes Empire 8 play, against Ithaca College on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. at Yunevich Stadium.
