Malone had back-to-back matches with double-digit kills, points and digs as she helped the Saxons go undefeated in Empire 8 action, closing out their home schedule and helping the Saxons break a school record for largest margin of victory in a single set. She started the weekend with 13.5 off of 13 kills and a block assist in the first 3-0 sweep of Hartwick College since 2004. She chipped in 12 digs and three set assists in the Friday evening win. Then, on Saturday’s Senior Day, she had 12.0 points from 11 kills and two block assists while tacking on another 12 digs and two set assists. She helped the Saxons set the new school record for largest margin of victory in a single set as the Saxons defeated Russell Sage College in the opening set, 25-5.
