Senior third base Liz Thompson and the Saxons continued their stay in Florida for their spring break training as they finished the campaign with a total overall record of 7-5 and a 6-4 record on the week starting on Monday and ending on Friday. For the week, Thompson was 10-for-34 at the plate with 13 runs, nine RBIs, two doubles and three home runs. Her final homer against Elizabethtown put her at 25 for her career which ties Alison Wickwire (2012-15) for the AU all-time mark. Thompson also added a perfect percentage in stolen bases, taking six on her six attempts. Defensively, she had 19 assists, seven putouts and only one error while taking part in a double play as well.
