Junior midfielder Miranda Gilbert broke a career-best for most free position goals in a single game when she went 5-for-5 against D’Youville on Wednesday. She also set a career-high in draw controls with 13 in the game as well as overall goals and points with eight each on the day. Gilbert kept the career-bests going with 12 shots and having all 12 on goal. She rounded the Saxons’ win off with two caused turnovers and one ground ball. Gilbert then scored two more free position goals in Empire 8 action on Saturday at Elmira College.
