Peters and the rest of the men's track & field team had quite the showing at the Empire 8 Championships. Peters earned two All-Empire 8 Second Team honors and one Third Team while making podium in each of his events. He teamed with Connor Kerr, Noam Sokolovsky and George Mecca in the final event of the meet, the 4x400-meter relay to finish second with a time of 3:25.41. On Friday, Peters qualified for finals in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.27 to earn the No. 4 seed going into the finals. During Satuday's finals, he ran an AARTFC-qualifying time of 11.09 as he finished second, just 0.01 out of first place. Peters' final All-E8 performance was another relay as he teamed with Jaleel Joseph, Steven Jackson and John Wendt in the 4x100-meter relay. The group ran an AARTFC time of 43.40 to finish third. Peters' final podium performance was a fifth place finish in the 200-meter dash, running a time of 22.81.
