Alfred University Athletics

ALFRED, NY—Freshman Jake Lynch (Whitney Point, NY/Whitney Point) has been named the Alfred University Male Athlete of the Week following his performances in two Empire 8 games last week.
 
Lynch was an integral part in the Saxons first win over Stevens Tech since the Ducks joined the Empire 8 in 2007, scoring five goals and providing one assist.  Throughout the week he scored a total of seven goals and collected four groundballs.
 
Lynch and the Saxons are in action again Sat. April 4, at home for their Senior Night against Empire 8 opponent Elmira College at 1PM.
