Sophomore Megan Bennett won four games last week including wins over Division II D’Youville University and Empire 8 foes, St. John Fisher and Nazareth College while also picking up a five-inning win over Fredonia. Bennett had 36 strikeouts on the week including 10 against D’Youville and 10 against St. John Fisher in the nightcap of that double-header. She only gave up seven earned runs on the week as AU went 6-2 overall on the week and 3-1 in Empire 8 action. Bennett walked only three batters and hit batters only twice with just one wild pitch. She did not give up a hit in her win against Fisher and the one inning against Nazareth in the double-header opener.
