Sophomore Wes Dennison was undefeated in doubles, going 3-0 on the week and going 2-1 in singles in Empire 8 action. He partnered with Sam Cohen all week in doubles, defeating Houghton’s Matthew Cicero and Adam Brown, 8-7(7-0) at No. 3, St. John Fisher’s Jon Sutherland and Anthony Molosag at No. 3 as well with a score of 8-5 and finishing with Utica’s Maki Medici and Ethan Trembley at No. 2 doubles on Sunday, 8-3. Dennison’s singles play had wins against Houghton’s Ben McKay, 1-6, 6-1, 10-4 and Utica’s Joshua Palmer, 6-1, 6-0. The match against Houghton, Dennison played at No. 6 singles and was No. 5 against Utica. His only loss of the week was a three-set loss to Fisher’s Molosag, falling 4-6, 6-2, 8-10.
