Junior Saul McCoy earned two podium spots during the Empire 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday and Saturday. He earned fifth place in the weight throw, tossing a mark of 13.66m, demolishing his previous personal best distance of 12.57m. McCoy earned All-Empire 8 Second Team in the shot put with a throw of 14.60m. Out of his six throws, five of them were progressively improving upon his personal record.
