First-year Karina Morling made her collegiate debut in the highest fashion as she totaled 17 kills, four blocks, 20.0 points and one dig against Stevens Institute of Technology and Nazareth College. Morling first set her collegiate career-high in kills with nine against Stevens on Saturday’s morning match. She also set her career-best in hitting percentage with a .300 off of 20 attempts with only three errors against the Ducks. She totaled 9.5 points in the match with a block assist added to the stat line. Morling then set her career-high in points with 10.5 against Nazareth off of eight kills (with only one error on 28 attempts for a .250 hitting average), two solo blocks and one block assist.
