Senior Sage Brown helped the Saxons go 3-0 on the week to kick off their 2018-19 regular season. He averaged 13.0 points on the week along with 6.7 rebounds a game, 3.0 steals per game and 2.7 assists per game while only giving up the ball three times and blocking one shot. He shot 53.8% on the week, going 14-of-26 from the floor and currently leads the Saxons with 11 offensive rebounds. Brown hit a season-high 18 points on Saturday during the final game of the Special Tees Classic. He also set a season-high with five steals in the matchup. Brown pulled down three offensive boards while getting two under the defensive side. On Monday, he recorded his first double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds, pulling in seven on the offensive board. He also stole the ball three times in the meeting while assisting four times for a top season mark.
