Tyler Johnson led the Saxons to a solid 34-10 victory during the Empire 8 opener against Buffalo State. The senior quarterback had 19 rushing attempts for 92 yards with four touchdowns. Johnson was one rushing touchdown away from tying the school record. He also made 61% of his pass attempts for 160 yards with his longest being a 25-yard pass to Rodney Etienne.
