Senior Chelsea Pietrzykowski led the Saxons in scoring against Empire 8 rival, Utica College on Saturday afternoon during the Alfred University Empire 8 Women's Volleyball Crossover which also featured Nazareth College. She was the team-high scorer with 17.5 points. Pietrzykowski was 0.5 points away from tying her Saxon career record of 18.0 points set last season in the match against Penn State-Harrisburg. She had 16 kills, one solo block and one assisted block and added two digs against the Pioneers. In the early match against the Golden Flyers, Pietrzykowski totaled two kills and on assisted block for 2.5 points.
