GREENWOOD, IN – Four members of
the Alfred University women's tennis team were selected to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Division III, as announced on Wednesday.
Becca Epping (Mitchell, IN/Bedford North Lawrence),
Elizabeth Madsen (Portland, OR/Grant),
Allison Windisch (Pittsford, NY/Sutherland) and
Alina Zabihailo (Kyiv, Ukraine/Educational Complex #143) were the four representatives for Alfred University.
"I am so proud of this group and their academic and athletic accomplishments," Head Coach
Jake Fisler said. "This is such a diverse group, Elizabeth and Becca are amazing artists, Alina with her three majors, and Allison dominating the exercise science program, they can truly do it all. Within that, they also come together on the tennis court and really help build that culture of hard work and passion that is so crucial to our team's success. I am so lucky to have them on the team and am very excited to see what is next for these academic and athletic all-stars!"
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
