ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University softball team will compete in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship Tournament regional round hosted by Tufts University on Thursday through Saturday.
 
The Saxons (29-13) and #18 nationally-ranked Jumbos (30-10) are joined by the Middlebury College Panthers (33-8) and the Muhlenberg College Mules (32-11) in the regional bracket. AU faces off against Tufts in the opening game on Thursday, May 14 and will await to see who from the Middlebury/Muhlenberg game they will face on Friday, May 15.
 
Tickets for the games are available on site to be paid via cash or card. Prices are:

• Adult Day Pass: $15
• Senior Citizen: $10
• Student (with ID): $10
• Children (ages 3-12): $5
• Children (2 years old or less): Free

 
This will be the seventh trip in school history for the Saxons to compete in the NCAA National Tournament. They made trips in 2010, 2014, 2015, 2021, 2022 and 2025 with the 2015 team being regional and super regional champions. Click HERE for the Regional Tournament Page with visitor information.
