LOUISVILLE, KY – Nine Alfred University Saxon softball players were named to the 2025-26 Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete All-American list for achieving a 3.50 GPA or higher for the entire school year.
In total, over 8,800 softball players were honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Wednesday. The majority of those came from NCAA Division III institutions. This is the third year in a row that Alfred University has had nine players on the list and the sixth out of the past seven years that they have had nine or more (10 players in 2021).

Paris Guzman (Santa Fe Springs, CA/Santa Fe),
Eileen Hein (Chicago, IL/Loyola Academy),
Bella Mistretta (Alexandria, VA/Hayfield Secondary),
Kendall Steward (Kennedy, NY/Randolph),
Sadie Steward (Kennedy, NY/Randolph),
Brielle Wark (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville East) and
Molly Whitmyer (Enola, PA/Trinity) were all honored on the list of D3 student-athletes.

Luke Wesneski said. "Not only do they get after it in the classroom, but they take of business on the field as well. We are fortunate to have a great group of scholar athletes that understand the importance of academics at Alfred University and create a culture of excellence on the field as well."
