HOUGHTON, NY - The Alfred University baseball team wrapped up their weekend with a 15-1 loss to Brockport on Sunday afternoon. 

Prior to the game, Alfred University recognized Brandon German (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads), Reyes Torres III (Port Jervis, NY/Port Jervis) and Quinton Jordan (Olean, NY/Olean), all of whom are competing in their final collegiate season with the Saxons. 

Noah Madueno (Florence, AZ/Florence) recorded the first base hit for Alfred University in the second inning through the right side. With two outs in the inning, a nice hit by Cameron Brought (Wellsboro, PA/Wellsboro) brought in Madueno and put AU on the scoreboard. Madueno registered one more hit in the seventh inning, but Brockport answered with runs in six consecutive innings to earn the win. 

Alfred University will next travel to face Keuka College on Friday for a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 PM.
