DOYLESTOWN, PA -- The Alfred University dressage team ended its regular season at Delaware Valley on Sunday.
The highlight of the weekend came with
Chester Mikkelson (Arlington, MA/Arlington) qualifying for the Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) National Championships in Upper Training. Mikkelson won the class with a score of 69.8% and was followed by
Piper Anderson (Cleveland, OH/Orange) in fourth.Â
Head Coach
Teresa Oliver also claimed a first place victory on Sunday during the Coaches Saddle Smackdown, scoring a 69.4%.
Mikkelson will compete in the IDA Nationals on April 24-26 at the National Equestrian Center in Lake Saint Louis, MO.
