ITHACA, NY – The Alfred University women's swimming & diving team ended its second day of the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational on Friday in seventh place.
 
Liv Richeda (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) and Alexandra Simmons (Danbury, CT/Danbury) finished first and second in the 400-yard individual medley with times of 5:09.84 and 5:10.87, in the C-Finals, respectively to start the night.
 
Isobel Anderegg (Wellsboro, PA/Wellsboro Area) qualified for the B-Finals in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing third in the heat and 11th overall with a time of 1:11.77.
 
The 800-free relay team of Simmons, Lauren Mott (Cortland, NY/Cortland), Courtney Cherricks (Chincoteague, VA/Big Spring) and Richeda rounded out the evening with a seventh place finish in the A-Finals, combining for a time of 8:51.42.
 
The Saxons will close out their weekend on Saturday morning and evening at Ithaca.
