"We played very well against a team that is receiving top 25 votes," Head Coach
Mike Honeycutt said. "I am incredibly proud of our seniors. They showed out and have left their mark on this program. Many first happened in their careers for this team and them individually. We were the only team in the E8 to take a set off St. John Fisher University. While this chapter is closing for our seniors, they have another opportunity next weekend to keep making history."
The Saxons now prepare for the E8 Championship Tournament. AUVB will be the No. 8 seed and will face the No. 1 seed in St. John Fisher University once again. The match is set to take place at Manning & Napier Varsity Gym in Rochester, NY, on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1:00 PM.
