HOUGHTON, NY - The Alfred University Men's Tennis team lost to Nazareth University by a score of 8-1 on Saturday afternoon.

In doubles action, Breece Erickson (Goshen, IN/Bethany Christian) and Nick Flemmer (Corning, NY/Corning-Painted Post) won an intense back-and-fourth match by a score of 8-7 and won the tiebreak 7-3 from the #1 spot.

In Singles, Mike Roberts (Alfred Station, NY/Alfred-Almond) and Matthew Bittel (Wellsville, NY/Wellsville) both forced a third tie breaking set but weren't able to get the job done in the end.

The Saxons will next play at Houghton University on Saturday, April 27th at 3 PM.
