ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University football team, who finished with their most regular season wins dating back to the 2017 season, are scheduled to face Western Connecticut State University as part of the Asa S. Bushnell Bowl this upcoming Saturday.

The Saxons are coming off a 23-14 win over SUNY Brockport this past weekend, marking their first victory over the Golden Eagles since the 2016 season.

WestConn wrapped up their 2024 regular season with a 58-17 win over Castleton to finish with an 8-2 overall record. The Wolves finished second in the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC).
