ALFRED, NY - The Alfred University men's rugby team wrapped up their fall season against SUNY Geneseo on Saturday, receiving a technical forfeit despite winning on the scoreboard. 

Chevon Adriaans (Paramaribo, Suriname/SGS) was the first to record a try for Alfred University in the opening half at the 9:30 mark. Roughly a minute later, Nathan Towne (Ellenville, NY Ellenville Jr/Sr) scored for the Saxons, extending their lead. Hector De La Rosa (Williamson, NY Sodus) had a standout performance for the Saxons, recording his first of four tries at the 16:30 mark.Sekou Camara (Conakry, Guinea/ICSA) added to Alfred University's success in the second half, recording a pair of tries within 60 seconds. The matchup was complete following one final try from Edward Hart IV (Wilton, NY/Saratoga Springs). 

Alfred University will next compete in the spring, with a schedule to be released in the future.
