HACKETTSTOWN, NJ – The Alfred University dressage equestrian team finished third at Centenary University (New Jersey) on Saturday.
 
Chester Mikkelson (Arlington, MA/Arlington) led the way by taking second in Upper Training with a score of 70.800. Piper Anderson (Cleveland, OH/Orange) followed in seventh place.
 
Emily Peluso (Johnsonburg, PA/Johnsonburg) took third in Introductory. Helene van der Merwe (Johannesburg, South Africa/Leeuwenhof Akademie) finished fifth in Level 1 while Samantha Smith (Columbiana, OH/Ursuline) and Kyra Durfee took sixth and eighth, respectively in Lower Training.
 
The Saxons will have a two-day showing at Delaware Valley University in Doyelstown, PA on Saturday and Sunday, November 2 and 3.
