HILTON HEAD, SC - The Alfred University men's tennis team continued their Spring Break competition with a 9-0 loss to Thomas College on Thursday from the Hilton Head Resort.
"Thomas is a great program," Head Coach
Jordan Crouch said. "They're great competition for us as we get ready for the rest of our season. There are lots of things for us to work on, but I was proud of the resolve that some of our guys had today, particularly Mark, Bittel and Mike in singles. We fought hard and we found some new weaknesses that we can improve to help us for our conference schedule coming up. We have one more match down here tomorrow morning to learn, improve and enjoy!"

Mark Ungurian (Chornomorsk, Ukraine/School #6) picked up three or more points in his of his two sets from No. 5 singles.
Evan Kent (Andover, NY/Andover Central) rounded out the day for the Saxons from No. 6 singles, recording four points in his first set.
