DANBURY, CT – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2023 Division III Football All-ECAC listings, with Joe Copp (Minoa, NY/East Syraucse-Minoa) and Danny Quiñones (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) being recognized for Alfred University.
 
Copp was voted to the All-ECAC First Team Defense, while Quiñones earned Second Team honors.
 
Copp has received First Team recognition for the second consecutive season following a standout senior season. He finished second in the nation for Division III with 12.2 tackles per game. He has now recorded 357 career tackles with Alfred University, which ranks fourth in program history. Copp was additionally credited with 9.5 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble for AU. Copp was previously named as a member of the All-Empire 8 First Team and D3football.com All-Region Second Team.
 
Quiñones enjoyed his senior season, finishing with a team-high 13 tackles for loss. He recorded 44 tackles, 19 of which were solo. Quiñones also picked up five quarterback hurries for the Saxons. Quiñones was previously named as a member of the All-Empire 8 First Team.
