ROCHESTER, NY – The Alfred University men's tennis team continued their spring season with a 9-0 loss to Nazareth College on Friday afternoon from the Annette Shapiro Courts.
"After the match today we talked about how little time we have left as a group and trying to soak up every minute we have together," Head Coach
Jordan Crouch said. "We want to take advantage of the next eight days and squeeze as much enjoyment out of it as possible."
The combined efforts of
Logan Cross (Olean, NY/Olean) and
David Lingenfelter (Erie, PA/Harborcreek) resulted in three points from No. 1 doubles. Cross later recorded two points during his second set in singles action from No. 1.
Mike Roberts (Alfred Station, NY/Alfred-Almond) battled from No. 3 in singles play, scoring in each of his two sets.
Alfred University will next return home to host Utica University on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
