ALFRED, NY – As we are going into the second weekend of home athletic events, Alfred University and Alfred University Athletics have updated the fan attendance policy to include that all fans in our facilities will have to me masked at all times, both indoor and now outdoor.
 
All attendees of Alfred University athletic contests are to be masked at all times while in the venue, whether that is Yunevich Stadium, the Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center at Maris Cuneo Equine Park, the William T. Brown Tennis Courts, Harrington Field or the McLane Center. This includes everyone not involved in the contest on the court/field. Staff, students, other athletes and visitors to campus all fall under these designations.
 
These measures have been put in place to minimize the chance of any exposure to COVID on campus, thus reducing the risk of our student-athletes missing competitive opportunities and keeping our campus safe. In addition, if masking protocols are not followed, Alfred University may have to move to no outside attendance for games in the future.
 
Alfred University Athletics ask for your cooperation with these protocols as they will help keep our fans in the stands and keep our Saxon student-athletes competing and making a memorable collegiate experience.
