UTICA, NY – The Alfred University women's basketball team (2-22, 0-15) dropped an 80-32 Empire 8 matchup to Utica College on Friday evening on the road.
 
First years Chloe Kottwitz (Bolivar, NY/Bolivar-Richburg) and Amanda Figueroa (Cypress, TX/Rosehill Christian) led the Saxons in scoring throughout the game. Kottwitz netted 10 points while Figueroa scored eight. Figueroa also led the team with eight boards in 35 minutes of play.
 
The Saxons return to the court tomorrow when they take on Hartwick at 4PM in Oneonta, NY for the 2017-18 season finale.
