Amber Smith (Prattsburgh, NY/Prattsburgh Central) at No. 2 doubles to lead the Saxons (0-6, 0-3 Empire 8) in the first part of Friday's match as they fell to Kelliann Camp and Cassie Special, 5-8. Kambar also had a strong showing at No. 4 singles as she fell to Isabella Arrigo, 5-7, 2-6.

Inda Gillett (South Kortright, NY/Delaware Academy Central) had a strong showing at No. 2 singles with a 4-6, 2-6 loss while senior
Beryl Torthe (Pretoria, South Africa/St. Mary's Diocesan-South Africa) dropped a 3-6, 3-6 decision at No. 5 singles.
The Saxons will next take on Empire 8 foe, Utica College on Saturday, September 16 at 1pm on the road.
