OLEAN, NY – The Alfred University men's tennis team fell to Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday morning, 0-9.

Junior Mike Wisniewski (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville East) teamed with sophomore Peter Smock (Prattsburgh, NY/Prattsburgh) at No. 2 doubles where they managed to take three games from the duo of Michael Feldman and Dave Schulz. The Saxon pair fell 3-8. In singles, Wisniewski competed at the No. 3 spot where he earned a total of four game wins but fell to Feldman, 3-6, 1-6.

Senior Kevin Volz (Olean, NY/Olean) played at the No. 1 singles spot and fell to Kyle Henry 2-6, 1-6.

The Saxons (2-5, 0-3 Empire 8) will next host Oswego State in non-conference action on Tuesday, April 11 at 3:00 pm.
