Box Score PORT CHARLOTTE, FL -- The Alfred University women's lacrosse team lost its second game on the Saxons' Spring Break trip to Florida, dropping a 23-5 decision to Bridgewater (MA) State Wednesday.

The Saxons (0-2) were led by senior attack Megan Wendt (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) and junior midfielder Miranda Gilbert (Watertown, NY/Watertown), who each netted two goals. Senior attack Hayley Katz (Bridgewater, NY/Bridgewater-Raritan) scored Alfred's other goal.

Junior Shannon Gray (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) went the distance in goal for the Saxons and made five saves.

Alfred is in action next on Wednesday, March 15, at 4p.m. at home against Keuka.
