ROCHESTER, NY – The Alfred University women's basketball team lost to host St. John Fisher College, 74-42, Tuesday evening at the Bobby Wanzer Court.
 
The Saxons (2-19, 0-12 Empire 8) were led by senior forward Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) who finished with 11 points and five rebounds and sophomore guard Katlyn Boland (New York, NY/A. Phillip Randolph), who chipped in seven points. First-year forward Sam Pierre-Louis (Wheatley Heights, NY/Half Hollow Hills West) finished with a team high six rebounds to go along with five points.
 
The Cardinals were led by Caroline Robertson who finished with a game high 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds while Erin Hulbert finished with 10 points.
 
The Saxons are next in action this Friday, Feb. 10, when they host Stevens Institute of Technology at 6 p.m.
