GENESEO, NY – The Alfred University women's volleyball team fell in three sets on the road to SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday evening.

Saxons (5-8, 0-0 Empire 8) fell by scores of 10-25, 10-25 and 20-25. They were led in points by first year
Amber Smith (Penfield, NY/Webster Schroeder) with 7.5 points from seven kills and one block assist.

First year
Lesley Rosario (Port Jefferson, NY/Earl L. Vandermeulen) had one solo block and one assisted and tacked on one kill for 2.5 points, leading Alfred University in total blocks on the evening.

Junior setter
Aubrey Totsline (Fairport, NY/Fairport) had 16 set assists and one of the Saxons' two aces. Junior
Jacquelynn Hicks (Greenville, NY/Greenville) had the other ace as well as three kills and one assist.

Sarah Huzyk (North Chili, NY/Churchville-Chili) led the Saxons in digs with seven while Smith followed with six.

The Saxons will next play at the Delaware Academy High School in Delhi, NY against the Broncos of SUNY-Delhi on Friday, September 23. The first serve will be at 7:00 pm.
