OLEAN, NY -- The Alfred University men's tennis team wrapped up its 2015-16 season over the weekend with a pair of losses in Empire 8 Conference play.

The Saxons lost 8-1 decisions at Fisher, on Saturday, and against visiting Nazareth, on Sunday at St. Bonaventure University's indoor courts. With the losses, AU ends its season with a 5-15 overall record, 2-6 Empire 8.

In each match, Alfred got its lone by from senior Connor Doud (Ballson Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) in first singles. Doud defeated his Fisher opponent, 6-3, 6-1, and his Nazareth opponent, 6-1, 6-2.
