ROCHESTER, NY—The Alfred University women's lacrosse team (4-5, E8 0-1) fell to Empire 8 foe, St. John Fisher College (7-0, E8 1-0) Friday evening on the road.
 
The Saxons were shut out in the game, 17-0.  Five players scored two goals each for the Cardinals in the contest.
 
 
Sophomore Shannon Gray (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) led AU with six ground balls to accompany her 12 saves in goal.
 
Seniors Kerry Mack (Weedsport, NY/Jordan-Elbridge) and Brianna Dudick (Somers, NY/Somers) along with sophomore Miranda Gilbert (Watertown, NY/Watertown) and freshman Olivia Cronmiller (Livonia, NY/Livonia) had a caused turnover each.
 
The Saxons look to get back on track on next Saturday when they travel to Hartwick College to take on the Hawks at 1PM.
