NEW YORK,NY – Senior forward
Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) recorded her second double-double of the season as she scored 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in the Alfred University women's basketball team's 73-64 loss to the host school in the championship game of the Hunter College Tournament Saturday afternoon.
Off eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career with her third double-digit scoring effort in as many games this season. She came into Saturday's contest with 988 career points. First-year guard

Rankin, PA/Propel Andrew Street) scored 11 points and hauling in six rebounds.
The host Hawks opened up the game on a 12-2 run before the Saxons (1-2, E8 0-0) found their groove to cut the lead down to four with 41 seconds remaining in the first quarter. Alfred cut the lead to one after Off converted on the layup to make the score 18-17 with 8:02 remaining in the second quarter before Hunter College went on a 21-5 run to close out the half.
The Saxons outscored the Hawks in the second half, 42-35, off of 15-of-30 shooting from the field. Alfred dominated Hunter College in points in the paint, 34-20, and had another strong outing from their bench, as they scored 17 point to Hunter's nine.
The Saxons play next on Tuesday, Nov. 22, as the host Keuka College in the home opener at 5 p.m.
