Alfred University men’s soccer team falls in Empire 8 action to Ithaca College

ITHACA, NY – The Alfred University men's soccer teams lost to host Ithaca College Saturday afternoon in Empire 8 play by the score of 2-0.
 
The Bombers outshot the Saxons (7-5-2,1-1-2 Empire 8) 17-13. Ithaca also had the advantage in corner kicks, 8-4
 
Junior goalie Chris Gutierrez (Holbrook, NY/Sachem East) made five saves in the loss.
 
Alfred is in action Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. when the Saxons play at Montclair (NJ)  State University in a non-conference match.
