ERIE, PA  – The Alfred University women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to host Penn State-Behrend Tuesday afternoon.
 
Senior Kallie Clapper (Conklin, NY/Susquehanna  Valley) earned Alfred's lone singles win, taking fourth singles, 6-3, 6-3.
 
Seniors Rachel Cook (Youngstown, OH/Laurel Springs) and Emma Jackson (Wellsville, NY/Wellsville) earned Alfred's other point , winning first doubles, 9-7. With the win, Cook and Jackson remained unbeaten in four first doubles matches this season.
 
AU (0-4) is in action next on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 4 p.m. at Cortland.
