AU (7-3) swept singles play in the non-conference matchup. Junior
Connor Doud (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) won first singles, 6-0, 6-0; sophomore
Evan Haskins (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville South) won second singles, 6-4, 7-6; senior
Michael Graham (Elmira, NY/Southside) took third singles, 6-0, 6-0; junior
Kevin Volz (Olean, NY/Olean) took fourth singles, 6-1, 6-4; junior
Matt Baloga (Goshen, NY/Goshen) claimed fifth singles, 8-1; and sophomore
Patrick Brown (Olean, NY/Olean) took sixth singles, 8-0.
The Saxons took three doubles matches. Doud and Volz won first doubles, 8-1; Grahasm and Haskins won second doubles, 8-3; and freshman
Mike Wisniewski (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville East) and Baloga took third doubles, 8-5.
AU is in action next on Friday, April 17, at 4 p.m., at home against Empire 8 foe Houghton.
