READING, PA—The Alfred University men's basketball team (4-4, E8 0-0) fell to Albright University 66-59 despite four Saxons scoring in double digits.
 
Junior Tyler Seelman (Lorton, VA/Hayfield Secondary) led the Saxons with 13 points while sophomore Dalton Cousin (Sherrill, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) scored 12 points and recorded seven rebounds.  Junior Eric Adams (Lebanon, NJ/Hunterdon Central) recorded eight rebounds to lead the Saxons in the game.  Adams and sophomore Nick Schmidt (Olean, NY/Olean) both scored 10 points.
 
Albright was led by Omari Ringgold with 18 points while Evan Ward collected seven rebounds.  The Lions shot 59.1% from the field in the second half, spurring a run to take the lead.  AU 41.9% over the course of the game.
 
The Saxons will remain in Reading, PA and will take on the loser of the Johns Hopkins vs. Susquehanna University game at 2PM.
