Box Score HOBOKEN, NJ –The Alfred University women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-6 decision to Stevens Tech, Saturday afternoon on the road.   
                
The Ducks led the Lady Saxons, 13-2, in the first half, and outscored Alfred 5-4 in the second half.  
                
Junior goalie Taylor Tarajos (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) made a game-high 13 saves for AU, during 60 minutes of play.
                
Freshman attack Megan Wendt (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) paced the Lady Saxons with 2 goals while junior midfielder Sarah Evans (Lafayette, NY/Manlius-Pebble Hill) scored a goal, picked up four ground balls, and caused three turnovers. Sophomore defender Kerry Mack (Weedsport, NY/Jordan-Elbridge) scooped up three ground balls.
                
Senior attack Ashley White (Islip, NY/Islip), senior defender Janelle Gallipeau (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia), and junior attack Kaitlyn Button (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) all finished with a goal apiece also.  
                
Alfred (1-5, 0-2 Empire 8) returns to action on Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m. against Utica College.
