OLEAN, NY -- Elmira College defeated the host Alfred University men's tennis team, 7-2, in an Empire 8 Conference match Saturday afternoon at the indoor courts in Olean.

AU got a pair of singles wins, from sophomore Connor Doud (Ballston Soa, NY/Ballston Spa) and senior Stefan Nonnenmann (New Providence, NJ/New Providence). Doud won first singles, 6-2, 6-0; Nonnenmann took fourth singles, 6-3, 7-4.

AU (11-9, 2-4 Empire 8) wraps up its season on Tuesday, April 29, at 4 p.m. at home against Empire 8 foe Nazareth.
