Box Score ALFRED, NY –The Alfred University women's lacrosse team fell 19-4 to visiting Keuka College, Wednesday evening at Yunevich Stadium. This non-conference loss brings AU to 1-4 (0-1 Empire 8) on the season.  
                
Alfred trailed Keuka 14-2 at halftime, and was unable to cut the deficit in the second half.  
                
Senior attack Ashley White (Islip, NY/Islip), senior defender Janelle Gallipeau (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia), junior attack Kaitlyn Button (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) and freshman attack Megan Wendt (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) all scored a goal apiece for the Lady Saxons.
                
Wendt caused two turnovers and freshman defender Hayley Hammer (Angola, NY/Lake Shore) scooped up a team-high three ground balls.
                
Junior goalie Taylor Tarajos (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) minded net for AU, making seven saves.  
                
AU resumes conference play against Stevens Tech on Saturday, April 5, at 12 p.m.
